The College of Human Ecology ceased operations on June 30, 2006.

Academic units previously housed within CHE have joined new college homes as follows:

• The Department of Design, Housing, and Apparel is a part of the College of Design.
• The Department of Family Social Science and the School of Social Work belong to the College of Education & Human Development.
• The Department of Food Science & Nutrition has joined the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.

Publications produced by the College of Human Ecology will be available online for an indefinite period of time.
